Corona Virus threat, my plan...

Corona Virus? 
I have never experienced anything like the upheaval we have experienced with this virus.
I am NOT a medical Dr. I offer no allopathic solutions. 
I will tell you what I do to ward off any unnecessary problems and what I do when I am attacked. 

About Virus'
#1. They mutate. That's how they stay in business.
#2. You won't get the exact same virus as your neighbor, they mutate. 
#3. Antibiotics do NOT work on virus.

The best way to handle this virus is to enhance your immune system so it fights off this or any other invaders
Immune system should be functioning at 100%. Body Code work will evaluate this for you. If you have something else as effective, by all means I would use it. 
Boost the Immune system.
I have been taking: 
Vit D 4000 U/ day is the minimum. You don't overdose unless you go over 10,000 u/ day.
Vit C to enhance the immune system. 1000 mg/ day is a good addition, more if you are fighting something. Vit C is a natural anti-inflammatory and rapid cell rebuilder as well as a detoxer. 
Garlic oil capsule 1/day unless fighting something. This is a great immune system enhancer. And it also has some anti-viral elements. 
That follows up on the minerals and vitamins I take. 

 ATTACK PLAN!!!
What I plan on if I get attacked?
I plan on lots of fluids.
One addition would be:
Canada Dry Tonic Water with Quinine
Quinine happens to be what Chloroquine is derived from. 
Selenium, 200 mcg/ day. It is GREAT for the immune system.
Zinc is also very good. Might consider zinc lozenges. Virus have a hard time reproducing when zinc is used. 
Vit C 3-6000 mg /day.
Vit D 10,000 u/  day for about 1 week.
Garlic to 4-6 capsules a day. Some people like the fresh best, and it is best. But for me, I get stomach issues with the fresh. A capsule works well for me.
Brigham's Tea tincture / 3-4 Droppers a day. Or I could use the tea, a couple of times a day.
Colloidal silver 30ppm, that will be 1.5 tsp twice a day. Possibly more if indicated.
And there is always Oil of Oregano. This is great for most virals. I can roll this oil onto the bottom of the feet.
And then the old stand by.... 
ONIONS! Yep! You can chop some up and put on the bottom of the feet. These are held in place by socks. This is just quicker than the onion poultice applied to the chest. But if indicated, and I had a horrible cough, I wouldn't hesitate prepping a poultice and using that a couple of nights as needed. 

There is quite a bit here. 
If it is a bit overwhelming, I am sorry. But I am here to help if you want to get more a more personal about any of it. 

Of course we could energetically challenge any virus or bacteria using the Body Code.
We could also check for any energies which are imbalanced and contributing to illness.

Just know, there are many options to choose from and the choice is yours.
I just shared some of what I do.

All about seeing 20/20!

SEEING THE NEW YEAR AT NEARLY 20/20!
                  I am serious.    
  This is wonderful place to begin a new year!
   
This week I drove myself to the eye Dr. 
By the time I got there I could hardly see. I WAS NOT in a good mood. My head was killing me, my eyes were killing me. I just couldn't focus. 
I suspected my contact lenses were giving me problems. I was right. 
Earlier, I noticed the cross road signs at night were looking something like swastikas and I wondered when they started making signs like that?! But as I got closer, the sign wasn't the problem. Hmm.....
One day I drove into Boise and noticed that on top of the mountains I could see individual trees. That's weird. So I just stopped wearing the lenses much because they weren't comfortable.
But thinking this wasn't a good idea, I headed to the Dr. 
When the Dr. came into the room, I said, "Hello, get these lenses out."
Whoa, not so fast! We had to test! 
With one of the tests, he asks if I can read any of the three lines. Yep, can read the top line, and pretty much the second line and if I squint I can make out the last line. 
 
After he did a few tests, the Dr. made the announcement, 
"You just keep getting better and better. You have had a 50% improvement in your vision since I saw you. Wow."
I saw him last in November '19, 2.5 months ago. 
At that time he said I could probably use a lesser prescription in the right eye, but thought all would be well at my -1.00 prescription. 
Per the reading test, the top line is what you need to be able to read to drive without corrective lenses! And the third line is 20/20 vision! 

THE REVEL:
I NO LONGER need corrective lenses to drive. WOW!
The last line is 20/20. SHOCKING! I CAN see 20/20 in 2020, if I squint!
My journey started with -1.75 with a light bifocal correction.
I am now -.5 and no bifocal correction. 
I am not something special, if I can improve so can anyone else who decides they would want to.  
Someone who says it can't be done should not be allowed to interrupt someone who is doing it. 

So what have I done?
Eye exercises.
Nutritional supplements. 
Removed any energy/toxicity blockages from eyes. 
That's it. 
And it isn't hard or I wouldn't be doing it. 

Here are the eye exercises:
EYE EXERCISES!
By Jack West
Laying on back. Do not move head.
Follow as directed in series of 5 times for each exercise
1. Rotate the eyes clock wise 5X
Squeeze eyes tight till relaxed, count to 10
2. Rotate the eyes counter clockwise 5X
Squeeze eyes tight…count..also use some deep breaths. 
3. Look straight across, FEEL the stretch. Left to right 5 X
Squeeze….
4.Make Xs with eyes.
From upper left to right shoulder, feel the stretch. 
Then upper right to left shoulder, feel the stretch.
Do these movements 10 x, making 5 large Xs.  
Occasionally, start from the bottom and go to the top.
Squeeze tight…..
5. Then look up over head and down to toes, focus on the toes, 5 Xs. 
Squeeze eyes…..
Done!
Do this 2 times a day at the minimum. 

I figure I was laying down before I went to sleep and before I got up so I could do these exercises. Worked for me! Do once more a day if possible.

Then I found another one I added since November:
The Thumb Focus Exercise
Hold your thumb out at arms length, shoulder high.
Focus on your thumbnail as you slowly bring the thumb toward your nose. 
Hold for a second or two and then extend the arm again still focusing on the thumbnail. Do this 5 times. 
Squeeze eyes and relax.
Do at least once a day, or twice if you feel inclined. 

NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENTS
Supplements reported to help eyesight:
Calcium, citrate 400 mg
Omega 3 fish oil, 1000 U
Vit C 1000 mg, minimum
Vit E 400 u
Gelatin, 1 capsule/day
Glucosomine/Chondroitin, 1 capsule a day
Mineral supplement
Eye Brite formula, 2 droppers or 2 capsules at night, 1 month. This is a Dr.       Christopher product.
Iodine, be sure you are getting adequate Iodine supplementation. This is         the ONE thing I had changed in my diet over the last 4 months. 


Foods which may improve eyesight:
Spinach
Chard
Kale
Carrots
Broccoli
Egg yolks
Red and yellow peppers
Sweetcorn
Avocados
Raspberries 
Sweet Black Cherries
Blackberries
Blueberries
Pecans/nuts
Spices such as cayenne pepper and paprika
Fish oil

I do a smoothie most every day, mine is usually power greens with a little fruit, liquid minerals added, whey protein and sometimes yogurt. 

This smoothie is purported to help with eyes also:
SMOOTHIE!
For one month do the following daily:
Green smoothie with spinach, and chard if you like
1/4 c blue berries
1/4 c sweet black cherries
1/4 c. black berries
And eat 8 whole pecans.

It is important to remove toxins from the body as well as addressing any other imbalances. Body Code is great for this!

Also, to help clear congestion in the eyes, this is a great treatment! I tell people they will be shocked at how bright their vision is after this treatment: 

Castor Oil Treatment.
Use Hexane free, cold pressed and as organic as possible Castor oil. Palma Christie is a good brand. Use the filtered one, not the one with particles in it. 
For 3 nights, put one drop of castor oil in each eye before retiring. 
Wait one week and repeat. 
This may need to be repeated, depends on the individual.

And lastly, an eye wash!
This is great for strengthening the eyes, clearing and healing.

This treatment is also used for cataracts treatment.

EYE WASH
Measure out 2 eye cups full of water, distilled or purified.
Add 2 drops Dr. Christopher's Eye Brite tincture and let set for a few minutes to bleed off any alcohol.
Fill cup with solution. Tilt head forward and press eye cup over eye. 
Raise head and blink 10 times. 
Lower head for break.
Raise head again and blink 10 times.
Lower head and repeat one last time.
Discard water, rinse cup and repeat on other eye. You may increase dosage of Eye Brite drops as needed.

Do for one week and then we will recheck for a repeat.

There is nothing hard about this. It may seem like a lot, but you eat anyway, so might as well put in some healing foods. 
You lie down, you can exercise those eyes a couple of times a day. It takes only a few minutes.

Omega 3 Knees!

And we are almost into summer...well the calendar says we should be. 
Hope your weather is cooperating.

So what are some of your summer plans? Any hikes? Are the knees holding you back? 

I recently met with some 'almost' seniors and was a bit taken back by how many were dealing with knee pain. Yuck.
I consider most pain optional and I personally like to opt out.

I have addressed this several times, but whenever I experience something positive, I like to share. I want everyone to be as happy and healthy as possible.

Knee Pain?
What can be some of the causes?
Cartilage breakdown.
Misalignment of the pelvis
Misalignment of the vertebrae.
Pathogens.
Toxins.
Weak tendons.
Weak muscles.          
Adrenal issues can affect the left knee. 
Gall Bladder can affect the right knee.
Energy blockages in the knees. 
Lack of proper supplements.
Lack of exercise. 

I think this is the short list, I am sure there is more. 
It will be a bit different for different people. 

Body Code work can help solve the puzzle as to why there is pain. 
Then we can decide how to deal with it.

There are supplements we can choose from.
Glucosamine/chondroitin helps build tissue.
Gelatin will also help build tissue.
Vit C is a must. It can be a natural anti-inflammatory as well as a catalyst for healing. 
And one I have come across lately is the Omega 3. Not only is it good for bones, but is also good for tissue and joints. 

So I started taking an Omega 3 fish oil from the North Atlantic. I finally did a breakdown on my own nutritional needs and thought this would help in some of the stuff I was trying to address, such as eyes, hair etc. 

After the first month, that little annoying knee irritation seemed to be not so annoying. The knees weren't really sore, just tender at times. 

After month number two, I very seldom noticed the knees. Okay. Stairs? Hmm.... not much problem. 

After month number three, I forgot about the knees.

I have worked for sometime in cartilage rebuilding with gelatin, glucosamine and chondroitin, Vit C and minerals, just general good supplements. And I was taking an EFA, Essential Fatty Acid, complex with flax seed, borage and some fish oil. Apparently, not enough fish oil for what I was needing. 

When we look at oils, traditionally we use Flax for women and Fish for men. These have the precursors in the oils for hormone production. I would suggest testing to see which your body is in need of. Obviously, it is not a 'one size fits all' situation.

OMEGA 3 FISH OIL. 
What can it help? Ready for the novel?
Depression
Eye health
Brain health
  This is absolutely necessary when pregnant for the developing child's                 
  brain. 
  ADHD? You can get bubble gum flavored fish oil for children...and it 
  is shockingly good! 
  Alzheimers or dementia issues? Yep... this and maybe some Vit E. 
  Autism? This requires some definite helps. An evaluation between Cod 
  Liver oil or Omega 3 should be considered. 
Heart health
Blood factors, lowering triglycerides.
  Also will thin the blood, do not take if you are on blood thinners. This will
  be between you and your Dr. 
Insulin factors, helps with diabetics 
Joint and bone health, actually can boost the calcium levels in the bones.
Liver, helps with that fatty liver disease.
Skin, lots of nice moisture!
Sleep
And that is a partial list. 

When rebuilding, do not expect to have over-night results. We are so used to having everything quickly we become impatient. So guys, men, you are notorious for this! You cannot take this for three days and give up because you didn't see any improvement. Go for three weeks and we can talk. 

How much? Again, more is not always better. 
Two capsules day, is a good start. If your working with the brain, try doing one of these capsules at night as this is when the body does repairs. You will be giving building materials at the right time. 
For children, we can work with 1/2 tsp. 
And after healing has occurred, we can go to maintenance doses of supplements. And remember, the body IS DESIGNED to heal!

If in doubt, don't! 
Yes, you can be allergic to something here. That can be addressed if you feel this is the case. We can check. 
If you're not sure about this or any supplement, get some good advice. 
And check with your healthcare provider if you are on some prescription medications.

About those knees.....

It is going to be spring before we know it! Yeah!
So are you ready for the spring thing...gardening, walking and other adventures? Is dealing with knee pain going to be on your agenda?

Anti-aging, the skin! We're on it!!!

ANTI-AGING, we're talking about the skin this time!
I am all for it...naturally of course. 
I have several daughters. I spent some time with them this last week and we started talking about skin, wrinkles, premature aging and the rest. The fact is, we ARE going to age, thankfully so as the alternative isn't all that great. The goal here would be to do it in the least painful way possible. 
 
For my age, and I am eternally 59 at this point, I have pretty good skin. So because my daughters are interested in MORE anti-aging info, I thought to share some of what is out there, at least what I have available right now. There is always more to know, this by no means is everything! No one knows everything!
These are just things which have come across my radar in the past few years. 

I occasionally have used very expensive products, but I find you don't need the most expensive products for good results. And there is also the nutritional factors here. What supplements does one use for warding off extra aging? Like I said, this is what is on my screen right now. It is NOT everything, I am sure.

Here we go!

B VITAMINS
I once read that one symptom of B 6 Vitamin deficiency was wrinkling around the mouth. Enough said! It isn't going to hurt to take a good brand of B-50 or B-100 complex. These are usually very balanced and you won't be getting too much of one or the other. B Vitamins are water soluble, so don't be afraid of getting too much, your kidneys will take out what you don't need. Beef, poultry, fish, garlic and greens are good sources of B 6 also. 

BETA CAROTENE
This converts to Vit A in the body. This is very much anti-wrinkling. Because it is water soluble, you can take it with very little fear of overdosing. Your kidneys will eliminate the excess. I take 50,000 u a day of this, you can use up to 75,000 a day before you start overdosing. (And this is also VERY good for your eyes!)

VITAMIN C
Vitamin C is great for many things. It also generates rapid cell repair. This is good for the skin. You may want to add 1000 mg a day of this to your diet also.

GELATIN!
And guess what else builds collagen? Yep... old fashioned gelatin. It is marvelous for the joints, the eyes, the hair, the nails AND even the SKIN! So how much do I use? 
Well, I use those packets from the grocery store and use one of those a day. I just blend it into my smoothie. It doesn't taste. After a few months, you may find you can maintain with 3-4 packets a week. I have one daughter who gets her gelatin in bulk from health food source on line. In that case she takes 1 tablespoon a day. (And this is marvelous if you have some joint pain!)

GLUCOSAMINE/CHONDROITIN
These also are some of the building blocks of collagen. And collagen keeps the skin elastic and full.  You may take a couple of these a day. You may end up not needing as much later just to maintain. (Also very good for your joints!)

EFAs
These are Essential Fatty Acids. Flaxseed is very good for women, it is a precursor to estrogen. Fish oil for men, flax for women. 
Depending again on your diet, 1000 u a day is a good start.

HORMONES?
Yep, we want those balanced. Some breakouts can be attributed to estrogen imbalance. 

MOISTURIZER!
My mother-in-law, RIP, had great looking skin. Her secret she said was to, "Moisturize, moisturize, MOISTURIZE!" I use a product called Dermae. It has Vit A in it among other natural ingredients. 

MINERALS!
If there is a shortage of minerals in the diet, this can also affect the skin. It is HIGHLY SUGGESTED you get a good mineral supplement. 

WATER! 
It is the number one element to enhance the skin. I had an esthetician(skin specialist) tell me she could tell who drinks enough water and who didn't by how wrinkled their skin was. I immediately started drinking more water! You need to be drinking about half your weight in ounces. You weigh 150 lbs, you drink 75 ounces of water a day. And this needs to be GOOD water. For sure it should be filtered in some way. And you need to be careful of bottled water, sometimes they have fluoride added and you don't want that. We can go into that more in another blog. 

ASEA GEL
Then one of the products I really like is ASEA GEL. It really nourishes the cell structure of the skin. I use it at night. 

Here is one 'interesting' idea: 
HEMORRHOID OINTMENT? 
Yep. It is purported to shrink tissue. So somebody somewhere decided to try it for the wrinkles on the face and had some great results with it. But there is one thing you might note, the ointment which will work the best for this comes from Canada. They have the yeast extract and shark liver oil which are some of the key ingredients for success. 

HYALURONIC ACID
This is added to many skin formulas. It is to help collagen formulation. I think there are some valuable applications with this. It is probably worth a try.

No doubt there are some things here which some gals will not be able to take or use as they, "Break me out!" Well, I wouldn't do that either! But let me remind you, this can be treated! If you are allergic or intolerant, you can always have a session to address that.

If you have questions about dosages, we can address that also.

I did some work for a gal who had a 'pregnancy mask' on part of her face. She was now 40 and wanted to know if I could work on it for her. Frankly, I was a bit skeptical and could not guarantee results. But we did some releases and about 10 months later her son noticed her face and asked what happened. Now without makeup, the dark mask around her face was gone. Well, that was inspirational! So having some darkness on both sides of my neck, I found I had a reason for them and did some releases. Are they gone? No, it hasn't been 10 months yet...BUT! They now are getting very molted looking, breaking up I guess you would say. So now I watch and wait. Many times there are toxicities in the skin which need to be addressed, some are related to gland toxicities. Thankfully, we can address those also. 

I HIGHLY suggest any supplements you take are of a good quality. Cheap isn't always the best, and also at times when you buy the most expensive you're paying for packaging. Just use caution, and get some suggestions. 

Right now I am researching which oils may be of benefit to the skin. So there will more coming on that. There just always is so much more to know!

We are going to age. We can do it well. But please remember, the best thing about your face will ALWAYS be your SMILE!

Seeing IS believing!

Hello!
I recently worked with a client who is considering some eye enhancement surgery. I suggested she start working on her eyes.
I removed the energy blockages involving her eyes, made suggestions about supplements and sent her the eye exercises.
Surprise!
Her next visit to the eye Dr., they were both a little surprised when he announced her stigmatism was gone! This is a 40 year old woman with 2 children. 
Isn't it wonderful that there are options for improving our lives?!

THE STEPS TO IMPROVING THE EYES/VISIION:

The SCOOP ON POOP!

Oh, come on! I know there are people who want to know... "IS THIS NORMAL?"
What is normal? Lots of things! Is there anything Abnormal? Several things.

"Disease begins in the colon," according to Dr. Christopher and many others. You haul the garbage out of your house quite regularly, and it is good to get the garbage out of your system regularly also. Sometimes in my mind I just picture an out-house. Any camper has seen one of these. You had to hold your nose to use it. Well, imagine being a walking out- house. Yeah....take the garbage out. 
Dr. Christopher also stated, "There will never be world peace as long as there are a bunch of constipated men sitting around a table trying to discuss it."  This is probably true. I think I have met this type on a few occasions.

So what is 'REGULAR'?
I remember one story told in class by a practitioner about a woman who displayed toxin overload and constipation symptoms. Upon being questioned. She was adament that she was regular!!! So the provider asked her again, "Do you have regular bowel movements?" 
"Yes, she replied I 'go' once a month!" I would love to tell you this is made up. But unfortunately it is true. Some professionals would tell you that a bowel movement once a week is also normal. Please someone, show me somewhere in the animal kingdom, the animal that defecates once a week. I grew up on a dairy farm. I for sure never saw such a creature! So why would it be normal for a human to have a bowel movement every two, three or four days? Okay...it is a misunderstanding. This IS normal or average for constipated people, but it is NOT HEALTHY. A healthy person has two to three bowel movements a day. That would be a goal. 

So what does 'normal' look like?
Usually a light brown, about as long as from your wrist to your elbow, about as round as when your forefinger and thumb are placed together, and soft. As you can tell, this is very individual.  You can worry about that, after you are having the bowel movements.  
NOTE: Any maroon colored stools, or black tarry stools MUST be evaluated by your Dr. This is could be an indication of blood in the stools, and it is serious. 

What causes this constipation?

*WATER? Usually a lack of enough water. Are you drinking enough? A good rule of thumb is one half your body weight, pounds, converted to ounces. So if you weigh 150 lb, you should be drinking about 75 ounces of water daily. We will discuss the types of water later. Also, if the body isn't picking up the water, there will be a problem. We evaluate the usage of the water using the Body Code. 
*MEDICATIONS? Also medications can slow the tract down. Pain killers are notorious for this. There are others also, so we look for medication toxicities. 
*EMOTIONAL ISSUES? Emotional issues are paramount also! Holding onto emotional issues? Uh huh. That may cause a 'holding on' within the body also. We can address these things with TE sessions.
*FIBER? Lack of proper fiber also causes an issue. I know there is a big push right now against grains. I have a problem with that as whole grains are where you get so many useful B vitamins and also the fiber. You just need good old fashioned fiber in the diet from whole grains, fruits and vegetables, raw and even cooked.
*SMOOTHIES? And even some of those nutritional supplements, as great as they are, can cause a problem. To compensate for the lack of fiber in your smoothies, you need to add a tablespoon of olive or coconut oil to keep things moving along. 
*EXERCISE? Lack of exercise is also a big factor. One of the easiest and best is just simply a walk. That's it! But exercise in any form will help. 
*ENZYMES? Or lack there of? Supplements may be needed until the condition can be corrected. And I check to make sure your enzymes are up to par!
*HORMONES? A lack of thyroid hormones can very often cause constipation. But don't bank on getting an abnormal report back on this. You may need to run your own test with your body temperature, should be about 98.6 around 3 pm.

So what can be used to get you 'GOING?'

Dr. Christopher puts out the LOWER BOWEL TONIC. This is just what it states. It is a tonic to heal the issues of the lower bowel. This can be taken over a long period of time to heal the colon and encourage proper responses. Start out with 2 capsules a day, usually at night, then increase until desired results are achieved. After success, start backing down the dosages. You may need to take 2 capsules a day for a few months to heal this tract. If you are needing to take more than 4 capsules a day, consider putting some into your morning routine. 

PSYLLIUM HUSK is a good one also. Just mix a tablespoon or so of this product in some juice the night before and Waa Laa! Success the next morning. Be sure you are drinking plenty of water with this. Many people take 2 capsules of this 2-3 times a day. This keeps things moving along well.

SMOOTH MOVE. One little treat on the market now is a tea. You drink this around 7 PM, and success will be yours in the AM. And the name of this wonderful little product is, get ready for it...."Smooth Move." Yeah, I laughed also. It is a very pleasant tea with wonderful, gentle effects. 

Dr. Christopher also developed a recipe for a healthy little snack which will also help children, or their parents, assure relief from constipation.
DR. CHRISTOPHER'S BOWEL AID
1 pint ground or finely chopped dried fruits, ie apples, apricots, dates, figs,peaches, prune, and or raisins.
Add one ounce powdered slippery elm bark, one ounce powdered flax seed, one ounce powdered licorice root,  and enough sorghum or blackstrap molasses to make moldable. Shape into small round balls and roll them in 1:1 slippery elm bark and powdered carob.
These are plenty sweet, so there won't be a problem getting them down. They are very good for children who might be a little  'slow,' or their parents.

An easy exercise program is the TTap program. It does wonderful things including encouraging regular bowel movements. 

So there you have more info than you ever thought you would want about bowel movements! And there is more....but I think we have talked enough about it for now. Just one more thing, you're not really going to lose any weight until you clear the constipation condition. It is what it is.

Hello, again!!!
Yes, it has been a LONG time between blogs. I completed a move to a new location, office is mostly set up and I can find my clothes and my bedroom! Great Progress!!!! So now... hopefully I am getting back on track.
Now... onto some really exciting info!

MY EYES!!!!Three (3!!!!) LESSENED prescriptions later! 
Because of an eye issue a while back, I blogged about it, I have been conscious about good eye health protocol. Because I am also usually in a hurry and busy, I don't have a lot of patience with looongg programs. What ever I do has to be doable, quick and not too difficult. AND... IT MUST WORK!

I WAS wearing corrective contact lenses, WITH a bifocal enhancement. So a few months ago I went to the eye Dr. because I was getting headaches. I rarely have a headache and it usually is eye related if I do. 

He lessened the prescription. Ahhh.... lots better!
I am back 2 weeks later, more headaches. Relief, prescription lessened.

Then a week or so ago, I had trouble focusing, somewhat  blurry vision with a horrible headache.

I didn't have time to go in, so I just dealt with a kinda double vision deal when I wore my lenses, or didn't wear the lenses, unless driving. All the letters had a shadow with them. Hmm... I made an appointment and went today. Everything was going along okay.... until the aid gave me a new set of contacts to put in before the Dr. came in. WOWZER! Welcome to the world of headaches! 

By the time the Dr. came in, I just wanted the lenses out. Tried out another set of lighter lenses, still had some double vision, tried out another set. Not better yet. And then the magic card. 
"Can you read anything on this card?" he asks.
"Yeah, what do you want me to read?" I reply
 So I read something. The Dr. grabs the card and announces that I don't need the bifocals! So I got lenses WITHOUT bifocal correction, and a lighter prescription and WHAAA! LAAA! I can see again.... AND NO HEADACHES!

So let's see, I started out at -1.75 with light bifocal correction.
Went to -1.50 with light bifocal correction.
Went to a lighter one yet... and today I end up with -1.00 and NO bifocal correction. After that many lenses in my eyes, I have some very tired eyes. But I am feeling pretty optimistic about this eye stuff! 

So what started this revolution? Wish I could tell you what I did! (tease! Okay...not funny. Sorry ;-)  ....)

Soooo.... I started out with energy work on my eyes. Interestingly, I found grief as a trapped emotion. Makes sense, when you grieve you might cry. I have had plenty of opportunity for that. And there were some other things also. 

But there is something more to this....Recently, I came across a site by Jack West, a fellow I thought was only into archeology.. I hadn't realized he was very much into holistic health. I listened to his lecture. He has since passed, but was a great grandfather and had never worn or needed glasses. After my eye issues, I found this intriguing. And he then explained his program. He had been promised by a Dr. he would never need glasses if he did several simple eye exercises every day. Okay, I'll buy... how simple? It would have to be simple if I were to get involved. It was. I combined this with Dr. Christopher's Eye Bright, used as a wash and as a tincture. 
I was already taking some calcium, Vit D, Vit A, (as beta carotene),EFAs and minerals, so I didn't feel to change anything nutritionally.

So here you go! EYE EXERCISES by Jack West.
Lying down, do this at least two times a day. I know, I know... but the two times I would be lying down would be before I go to sleep and before I get out of bed. Okay... this is very doable! I could do it.

Protocol of EXERCISE:
Lying on back, 
1. rotate the eyes in a big clockwise circle 5 times. Then squeeze eyes tight. Slow methodical movements, don't rush.
2. Now, roll the eyes counter clockwise 5 times and squeeze.
3. Look side to side, way over each way 5 times, side to side and back is 1. Squeeze eyes tight.
4. Make 5 LARGE X's with eyes, looking to upper left corner then down to opposite right shoulder, upper right, then down to opposite left shoulder, 5Xs. Squeeze.
5. Look way up high, over your head, then down to your toes. You probably won't see your toes and that is okay. Do this up and down 5 times. Squeeze. 
ALL DONE!
That completes the eye exercises. It is suggested you do this 2-3 times a day or when your eyes are tired. I have at times just laid my head back and done them. 

As I stated, I take 2 droppers full of Eye Bright once a day.
I do an eyebright wash with an eye cup and a few drops of eye bright in water before I go to bed. And I take my regular supplements. I made sure there weren't any other blockages. 
That's it. 
Will it work for you? We won't know until you try. It doesn't hurt, is isn't expensive,(well discounting prescription changes) and it isn't hard. 

And yes, I would suggest energy work on the eyes, should you feel so inclined. Many things can be improved when we remove the blockages preventing healing. I have released toxicities and various energies from the eyes. It is really a good idea to get an evaluation.

Ebola...a few ideas for dealing with it

Is it starting to make you nervous? I haven't seen much alarm here in the North West. But I can see if there are a few more cases, people may get a little crazy about it.

I am not going to go into the whole who started it, where it started or why it started. That would require a novel. Who cares when you are faced directly with the problem? What is, is what is and we deal with what is.

Ebloa will cause the veins to weaken and leak the blood. Hence, hemorrhage and bleed out. So what will help the veins stay strong?
Good ol' VIT C! Put a lot of this in your medicine cabinet. You will using up to 10,000 + mg.s/day if you are directly confronted with this. 
And what is a good thing to help kill off the virus?
Good ol' Colloidal Silver. Get a large stash of this on hand also. You will be using about 1-2 TBL/day if you are directly confronted with this. If you are not familiar with colloidal silver, you will be spending some $$$. If you are familiar with this, you will still be spending some $$$, you just know it. Of course there are some who won't believe this will help. No problem, maybe they have a better program to be checked out. Just do what you feel you need to do. But I will remind you, one of the latest room cleaning substances being used is a 'silver' and hydrogen peroxide combination.

Naturally, good hygiene is a must. 

Plenty of bleach is a good thing to get on hand, surfaces need to be kept clean. 

Avoiding crowds would be a good idea, but nearly impossible. So just hedge your bet and make sure you are as healthy as possible, plenty of Vit D, Vit. C, minerals, and the rest of what constitutes a good health program. 

When it is all said and done, we can only do our best and let God take care of the rest.

Depression.... THERE IS HELP!

After this month of mourning due to our loss of Robbin Williams, I thought we would hit this DEPRESSION topic.

If you are alive, you no doubt have had a round of this.
SYMPTOMS:
No energy, loss of energy
Feelings of worthlessness, self loathing, unloved
Feeling trapped 
Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness
Loss of interest in daily activities/ no zest for life
Appetite or weight changes, uncontrolled eating
Sleep changes/sleeping beyond normal times, not sleeping
Anger or irritability
Reckless behavior.
Everybody has an off day or two or week. If yours is lingering beyond a couple of weeks, ask an honest person what they think about your symptoms. And know there is help out there for you. You CAN get to a better place. 

SOME THINGS WE CONSIDER:
Hormones after pregnancy will often generate a depression.
Stress is a big factor for depression. 
Change is always uncomfortable, and it doesn't matter whether it is a good change or a negative one. Lifestyle change, marriage, divorce, death, birth
Chronic health issue causing pain, this can be very depressing
And there is more probably, we just don't know everything about everything.

Did you know you can also see a symptom for depression in the eyes? Yep, in the brain flare area in the top of the iris. We would then also look for the cause. 

So holistically what are approaches for countering Depression?
Let's start with the physical stuff. And please understand... this isn't everything!

B-VITAMINS. A full range of Bs is a very good place to start. If you're in the midst of a depression, go for the B-100s. These are the BRAIN vitamins! They help balance the brain. Sometimes people are allergic or intolerant to the Bs, this needs to be evaluated and addressed. B vitamins are water soluble and do not build up in the system.

Vit D. This is the sunshine vitamin. Many seasonal disorders are helped when Vit D3 is added to the diet. A maintenance dosage is 4-5000 U a day makes a world of difference! If you are very depleted, you may need a higher dose for a week or two. I have heard the "But I am taking 400 U because that is what was recommended."  Well, this is your choice. You are overdosing when you take over 10,000 U a day... and that is questionable. On a nice sunny summer afternoon, your body will make up to 50,000 U and you usually don't have much illness in the summer. Go figure. Vit. D is highly under emphasized in my always humble opinion.

EFAs, Essential Fatty Acids, are also important. These help feed the brain. Flaxseed oil is good for women and Fish oil is good for men. I really like the EFAs Dr. Wallach developed, see products page. I must mention some people are allergic or intolerant of oils, this sometimes is why they don't see results from some of their supplements. We can address this.  

Adequate PROTEIN will help keep the sugar level stable in the body and brain. Nuts make a really good snack, and they are loaded with protein. 

Sometimes a good MINERAL SUPPLEMENT is necessary. We can do an evaluation for this and all the other supplements in question. 

Now let's address emotional issues
If you have to go through and airport and drag all of these suitcases with you, it will be exhausting. Going through life and dragging all this with you is exhausting on a long term level... and it can become depressing. 
This week I had a great experience with a client. She has suffered from depression for years. Her husband died 30 years ago, a good friend dropped her a few years later.
She had a miserable, abusive childhood.
So after two sessions addressing the reasons for depression, Client's friend calls me and says they aren't sure how to handle the 'NEW' girl! This client is happy and singing! And.. moving forward with her life now! This isn't an instant fix, it takes about a week to see the difference, but in this case it was quite fast. 
A heart wall, is created by the body as a virtual shield placed around the heart to protect it. This happens when the heart has been close to breaking, the body feels the need to protect it. The only trouble is this shield is made up of the negative energies lying around in the body. This shield, heart wall, prevents the messages of the heart from easily getting out, like wise it prevents messages to the heart to easily arrive. And lets remember, the heart is the second brain, it IS important. The heart TELLS the brain what to feel. The brain does not have feelings. I love you with all my.... HEART! Follow your HEART! I left my HEART in...We never sing about our brain.
So for the Client, we released several heart walls, created at different critical times in her life. 
We also released negative emotions from certain events and memories in her life.
I love watching this transformation! And hearing about it!

Should you start feeling better and you are on medication, DO NOT STOP YOUR MEDICATION WITHOUT YOUR DR.S HELP! Your medication program is between you and your Dr. and he needs to help you wean off. 
After sessions, there have been people who find they can reduce their levels of medication and some find they actually can wean off of medication, with their Dr.s help.

If there was one message that needs to be broadcast, it is...
                          THERE IS HELP! Please don't give up!

Why not go for a miracle? There are some great blessings awaiting those who go after them.
